Waterman 52 1/2v RHR
Today, we will show you a beautiful and stylish american Waterman fountain pen. She is called 52 1/2v RHR
Model 52 was manufactured between 1917 and 1939, with some colours of ebonite: black, orange, mottled orange and Ripple.
Our fountain pen is made of orange ebonite. This is the most fragile colour, and also the most difficult to work with. Because of that, production of orange ebonite was really short, and that makes this kind of pen very rare and difficult to find.
We can reed the firm name, which shows how perfect is her state of conservation.
The number 1/2 v” indicates that the fountain pen is “fine-slim”. Also the “V” indicates the s mall size. Total length is 110 mm and weight is only 12,2 gr.
Filling system is by lever. Despite the small size of the pen, system is the same as in the standard version.
Nib is 14 kt gold made, number #2. For this pen, the nib is fine and flexible.
